Price list for rolled metal products: Rebars

Periodic profile rebar - corrugated steel bars for reinforcing concrete structures. Rebars: a set of interlinked elements which, when interacting with concrete, absorb a load and can be used in the compression area, in columns. In general, two types of rebarss are used in the construction, i.e. cold-rolled (indicated by letter A) and hot-rolled (indicated by letter B). Hot-rolled products are usually produced in the form of bars, and cold-rolled products - in the form of rolls. Depending on the customer's wishes and the specifics of the project, the rebar can then be left straight, used for bending component parts or (welding) in a mesh. Periodic profile rebars are distinguished by a special resistance to stretching. Conventional structural steel grades are S235, S275, S355, respectively; these numbers denote resistance level measured in N/mm2. For B500 grade rebars this indicator is 500N/mm2, which is more than twice as much as a normal steel.

Rebars - a type of rolled metal product with a smooth or corrugated profile configuration in the form of a rod or a mesh. For the production of this type of product, a certain labelled carbon or low alloy steel is used.

Application areas

Rebars are considered to be a safe building element for use in construction structures.

Rebar code - when would it be needed to buy this type of rolled metal product:

reinforced concrete casting;
creating a three-dimensional reinforcement framework;
non-removable preforms for foundations and the formation of a netting layer of cement;
as a fastening element and pre-stressed steel strands.

According to the production technology, there tend to be two types of construction rebars:

hot-rolled - it is melted by heating the original raw materials to high temperatures;
cold-rolled - steel is not subjected to heating, the shape required for rolling is obtained by recrystallization of the alloy.

The following parameters are taken into account in the rebar code of this product line - its endurance, its diameter and its physico-chemical properties.

Price Policy

Hot rolling is considered cheaper because it doesn’t stand out for its geometric precision and a perfect exterior appearance. The price of rebars that are manufactured using the cold rolling method is significantly higher because the metal is able to withstand high loads of breaking, bending and tensile stress. It is characterized by the stability of geometrical parameters, as well as a smooth and flat surface.

The production price per tonne will depend on the melting method, the rebar code and the steel grade used.
